It is now 32 days until I leave for Japan and plans are becoming more clear and...so real.
I will be arriving at Narita Airport at 4:30, which is annoyingly 30 minutes after the deadline to be able to apply for pick up service by Waseda people even though the limousine bus that I was supposed to go on departs at 5:30. Who am I kidding, customs and luggage pick up combined is gonna take a hell of a long time.
I'm deathly afraid of going through customs alone as I was always accompanied by my parents or my younger sister (who is MUCH more organized than I am). And why are the people at customs so intimidating? Even though I know nothing can go wrong and have all the necessary documents to pass, it still feels as though I'm guilty of something and am not allowed to go through. Does anyone feel the same way when a police car passes?
As soon as I get through the airport maze my grandma will be greeting me at the other side and will take me to a hotel near the airport. Since I can't make the limousine bus that takes me to my dorm on the day I arrive, I'll have to wait for the bus the following day and stay at a hotel. Which, dont get me wrong, I dont mind at all. Because there's a breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffets are my everything.
All in all, I can hardly wait.
And this last month is gonna be a bitch to go through cause it's probably gonna go super slow.
(Edit: NO IT DID NOT GO SUPER SLOW. HOLY CANNOLI I LEAVE IN A WEEK)
Please please please let there be no complications.
